Level 0. Fast Track Pathway.

For when you’ve NEVER done ballet.

Start your ballet journey with a 30-minute private introductory session designed to help you build confidence before joining a LV 1 group class.

You’ll learn: The classical ballet foot and arm positions, Correct posture and alignment, Safe turnout awareness, Core engagement and stability, Basic ballet terminology and class etiquette, Foundational movements including: Pliés, Tendus, Dégagés, Rond de jambe, Port de bras.

When you feel comfortable with these fundamentals, you'll be ready to join Level 1. Most students benefit from 1–3 private 30-minute sessions before making the transition.

Tuesdays: 10:45–11:15 am

If you don't have ballet shoes yet, socks are perfectly fine. Wear comfortable activewear or dancewear, such as leggings and a T-shirt or leotard, and bring a water bottle. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and ready to move.

Level 1. Beginner

Did you dance a little as a child? Welcome back. Your body remembers more than you think.

You'll learn:

  • Posture and placement

  • Turnout support and control

  • Alignment through the legs and feet

  • Coordination of the arms, head, and body

  • Foot articulation

  • Stability, balance, and smooth transitions

  • Consistency and musical timing

  • Movement quality and expression

  • Foot strength and stamina

90 minutes| 6-weeks. Tuesdays, 11:30am–1:00pm — Studio 25, Mornington

Learn how to do a full barre with plies, tends, dégagés, ronde de jambe, grand battement, frappe.

Centre progresses to port de bras, balance, travelling steps and preparations.

You don’t need the “right” body, a particular age, or previous experience to belong here—only a willingness to learn. Every accomplished dancer once stood at the barre for the very first time.
