Welcome to Ballet Éternel. By enrolling in classes, workshops, private sessions, or events (“Services”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
These policies are designed to ensure a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment for all.
1. Inclusivity & Conduct
1.1 Ballet Éternel is an inclusive adult studio. All students, regardless of age (16+), gender identity, expression, body type, race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or ability level, are welcome.
1.2 Students must conduct themselves respectfully toward instructors, staff, and fellow dancers. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the studio without refund.
1.3 The studio reserves the right to refuse service to anyone whose behaviour compromises safety or inclusivity.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Students must be 16 years or older to participate.
2.2 Students should disclose any relevant medical conditions that may impact participation. This information will be kept confidential.
3. Payment & Billing
3.1 Fees must be paid in full prior to attending class by purchasing a drop in class pass or a class credit package or ensure that a membership is in place. Students must book classes via the MindBody App. Teachers will also mark students present and manually debit a class pass, in the case that students arrive at class without booking.
3.2 All purchases (drop-ins, class packs, courses, memberships, workshops) are non-refundable and non-transferable.
3.3 Refund policies:
Drop-in classes: non-refundable.
Class packs: non-refundable; expiration dates apply.
Memberships: non-refundable. 7 days notice must be given in writing by the student to Ballet Eternel at info@balletforadults.com.au in the event that a student wishes to cancel their membership prior to the next 12 week membership auto renewing.
Courses/workshops: refundable only if cancelled by Ballet Éternel.
Intro offers cannot be paused, extended, shared, refunded, or repurchased, except as required under Australian Consumer Law. Clients found to be purchasing or using multiple intro offers may have access suspended and may be charged the standard class rate for any additional bookings.
3.4 Late or missed payments may result in suspension of booking privileges.
3.5 Ballet Eternel offers a range of weekly and upfront membership options across both studios. All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and may change from time to time. The most up-to-date pricing is always available at www.balletforadults.com.au . By purchasing a membership, you give Ballet Éternel permission to automatically charge your nominated account each week for your membership fees and any additional charges that may apply (such as cancellation fee for private classes).
You understand and agree that:
Membership fees are charged weekly, unless stated otherwise.
It’s your responsibility to make sure there are enough funds in your nominated account on the scheduled payment date.
Any bank or processing fees that result from a failed or returned payment may be passed on to you.
If a payment doesn’t go through, Ballet Éternel may try to process the payment again, up to three times within seven (7) days.
If three payment attempts fail in a row, your membership will be temporarily paused until the outstanding balance is paid in full. While your membership is paused, you won’t be able to book or attend classes.
Ballet Éternel may recover any unpaid fees using your nominated payment method or other lawful options.
This payment authorisation remains active until your membership is cancelled in line with the cancellation policy.
4. Cancellations & Attendance
4.1 The studio may cancel or reschedule classes due to instructor illness, emergencies, or low enrollment. Students will be made aware via email or text via the app and offered an alternative class or credit.
4.2 Students may cancel reservations up to 8 hours before class start time. After such time, the class pass will be forfeited.
4.3 Frequent no-shows may result in booking restrictions.
5. Health, Safety & Assumption of Risk
5.1 Ballet and movement classes involve physical exertion. By participating, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks, including minor injuries such as muscle strains or soreness.
5.2 Students agree to dance within their personal limits and inform the instructor of any injuries or concerns that may affect your participation before each class. At the time of purchasing via the MindBody app, a waiver is
autocompleted as a prerequisite to purchasing .
5.3 Ballet Éternel is not responsible for injuries resulting from unsafe or negligent participation.
5.4 Proper attire is required for safety and comfort.
5.5 By attending a class or session, you confirm that you are in good physical condition. If you have any injuries, medical conditions, physical limitations, or are pregnant or postpartum, you are responsible for obtaining medical clearance before participating. You acknowledge that Ballet Éternel instructors are not medical professionals and do not provide medical advice or treatment.
6. Studio Policies
6.1 Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may not be admitted to ensure warm-up safety.
6.2 No rosin on dance shoes or on the studio floor is permitted in the studio.
6.3 Personal belongings should be stored in designated areas; Ballet Éternel is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
6.4 Photography or video recording requires instructor and studio approval.
6.5 The studio may occasionally record classes for promotional purposes. You will be informed in advance and may opt out.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
7.1 Ballet Éternel collects personal information solely for registration, scheduling, communication, and safety purposes.
7.2 We do not sell or share personal information with third parties without consent.
7.3 By enrolling, you agree to receive studio communications related to scheduling, updates, and community events.
8. Waiver & Release of Liability
By participating in Ballet Éternel’s Services, you waive any claims against Ballet Éternel, its instructors, and staff for injuries or damages arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or unlawful conduct.
9. Changes to Terms
Ballet Éternel may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be available at the studio and/or on our website. Continued participation indicates acceptance of revised terms.
