MONDAYS 7.15PM-8.45PM
A form that honours the timeless discipline of classical technique while daring to reach beyond it, where freedom and discipline coexist. Classical technique anchors the body, but lines, angles, and shapes are liberated
Frankston South Recreation Centre, Engine Room
Neoclassical ballet lives between classical tradition and contemporary freedom—where precision meets possibility.
Neoclassical ballet is not only seen—it is felt. Its beauty lies in the tension between control and release, discipline and abandon. It teaches patience and presence. In the tilt of a head, the curve of a back, the stillness before a jump, the infinite emerges. It speaks through posture, timing, breath, and musicality. Every shift carries energy—lightness that lifts, tension that pulls, pauses that hold their own weight.
A typical class begins with barre work to build alignment, strength, and clarity. The centre follows, where movement expands into space, often developing combinations or sections of choreography.
