Our Team
We are artists, educators, and lifelong students of ballet. Each member of our team is committed to teaching with clarity, integrity, and care.
We honour ballet’s rich tradition while embracing modern, inclusive approaches that meet adult dancers where they are. Whether you’re building a foundation, refining technique, or simply moving for joy, we are here to guide and support you.
Beyond technique, we believe in creating an environment where curiosity is encouraged, progress is celebrated, and every dancer feels seen.
When you step into our studio, you’re not just taking class—you’re joining a community that believes in your potential and your right to dance.

Nicole Spanger
Nicole’s ballet journey began in kindergarten. Trained in the Cecchetti method, Contemporary and Jazz Ballet in Johannesburg, South Africa under Diana Ward-Hull; she later brought her love of dance to Melbourne where she was mentored by Jeanette Liddell and earned entry into the Certificate IV in Dance Teaching at Box Hill Tafe. Nicole’s expertise is complemented by her Diploma of Vocational Education & Training - Instructional Design, grounded in adult learning principles.
After a foot injury shifted her relationship with movement, Nicole cultivated deep body awareness and a mindful appreciation for motion. She teaches ballet as a practice of intentional, conscious embodiment. Her classes emphasize ballet not just as an art form, but as a sustainable, meditative practice—especially for adult bodies seeking safety, understanding, and joy in movement.

Founder
“I’ve loved ballet for as long as I can remember, but my real passion for teaching adults began when I realised how few spaces truly supported adult learners. After years of training in traditional schools, I saw a pattern: adults were often treated as an afterthought.
Adults come to ballet with courage, curiosity, and rich life experience. Helping them reconnect with movement—often after years away—feels incredibly meaningful. I opened Ballet Éternel to give adults the dedicated home they deserve—a place where they can train seriously, progress safely, and feel proud of every step.
Sharing this craft with adults is not just my job; it’s my calling.”
Charlie Keegan- Bull
Charlie was born and raised in rural NSW, where he underwent his initial ballet training under Rosie O'Sullivan at Rosie O'Sullivan School of Dance in Cooma, New South Wales. He then moved to Melbourne in 2018 to formally pursue his ballet training at the National Theatre Ballet School in St Kilda. Here he was trained under newly appointed Artistic Director Damian Smith, an Australian Born dancer who was formerly a Principal Dancer at San Francisco Ballet. Charlie was also coached by Claire Campbell of Claire Classical Coaching here in Melbourne.
After obtaining his certificate 4 in Dance, he soon transitioned to the professional stream in which he has danced professionally since 2023. He has danced with the Victorian State Ballet in that time and has performed many roles in various places all over Australia.
